Welcome to the Chicken Soup for the Soul® Story Submission form. We owe most of our success to writers like you for the wonderful contributions of inspiration, hope, overcoming life's challenges and realized dreams. We welcome stories and poems from contributors of any age.

Please do not send us any book manuscripts, unless through a literary agent, as these will be automatically discarded.

If this is your first time submitting a story or poem, please read our Story Guidelines.

For an idea of whether or not your submission has been selected for the title you submitted to, go to the "Books and Other Products" link on the left toolbar and then select the "Coming Soon" link from the pull down menu. If the book title you submitted to is listed there it will also have an "On-Sale" date posted. You will hear from us at least two months before that date if your story has been selected to be published. If the title is not posted yet, keep checking back. If you haven't heard from us two months before the on-sale date of the title you submitted to, then you can assume that your story will not appear in that particular book. We do not send rejection letters.

If you have submitted a story to us and your contact information has changed please e-mail us at webmaster@chickensoupforthesoul.com. Include your first name, last name and your new contact information. Please include the e-mail address that you used with us before, as that is the only way we can find you in our system. If you have had a story published in one of our books, please give us the name of the story and the name of book in which the story appeared. If we have published more than one of your stories, please tell us the most recent one.

To change your e-mail address for our free daily stories and our weekly newsletters, please go to http://www.chickensoup.com/form.asp?cid=signup. Enter your new information, check the boxes next to the newsletters you wish to receive and click on "Submit." Then please unsubscribe your old address. Go to the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of the first page of each newsletter you receive, click on it and follow the directions.
