Joan Lunden

Joan Lunden truly exemplifies today's modern working woman. A member of the sandwich generation, Lunden is a mother of seven including two sets of twins 7 and 9 and is also a caregiver to her 93-year-old mother. She hosts RLTV's Taking Care with Joan Lunden, a series dedicated to caregivers, for which she won a 2010 Gracie award and she is the spokesperson for the nation's largest senior referral agency, A Place for Mom.

An award-winning television journalist, Lunden was host of Good Morning America for nearly two decades, making her the longest running host ever on early morning television.

Her other books include: Joan Lunden's Healthy Cooking; Joan Lunden's Healthy Living; Growing Up Healthy; A Bend In The Road Is Not The End Of The Road; Wake-Up Calls; and Good Morning, I'm Joan Lunden. Joan also wrote the foreword for Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks Mom.

More recently Joan has become an entrepreneur. She helps women have beautiful healthy skin with her Murad skin care line Resurgence. She and her husband invented a child safety device, Kinderkord, which they launched in 2008. Joan's line of home décor, Joan Lunden Home, is sold on QVC, as is her new line of TWIZT cookware and SMART&SIMPLE kitchen appliances.

Five years ago Lunden created Camp Reveille, a unique retreat in southern Maine where women can re-energize, jumpstart their fitness, and renew their spirits to achieve a healthier balance in their lives. (www.CampReveille.com)
