Jack Canfield is the co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, which Time magazine has called “the publishing phenomenon of the decade.” Jack is also the coauthor of many other bestselling books.

Jack is the CEO of the Canfield Training Group in Santa Barbara, California, and founder of the Foundation for Self-Esteem in Culver City, California. He has conducted intensive personal and professional development seminars on the principles of success for more than a million people in 23 countries, has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people at more than 1,000 corporations, universities, professional conferences and conventions, and has been seen by millions more on national television shows.

Amy Newmark has been Chicken Soup for the Soul’s publisher, coauthor, and editor-in-chief for the last five years, after a 30-year career as a writer, speaker, financial analyst, and business executive in the worlds of finance and telecommunications. Amy is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College, where she majored in Portuguese, minored in French, and traveled extensively. She and her husband have four grown children.

After a long career writing books on telecommunications, voluminous financial reports, business plans, and corporate press releases, Chicken Soup for the Soul is a breath of fresh air for Amy. She has fallen in love with Chicken Soup for the Soul and its life-changing books, and really enjoys putting these books together for Chicken Soup for the Soul’s wonderful readers. Janet Matthews is a best-selling author, editor, inspirational speaker and spiritual mentor. As co-author of the Canadian bestseller, Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul, since 2002 she has been inspiring audiences across Canada with her heartfelt journey of creating this unique Canadian book. With her stories, anecdotes and passionate delivery, Janet lights up a room. After spending the first twenty years of her professional life in Toronto’s fast paced fashion-photography and advertising industry, in 1997 she became involved with producing Chicken Soup for the Parent’s Soul. When Jack Canfield invited her to co-author Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul, she jumped at the chance. Pam Goldstein, editor of this book has been passionate about books and writing her entire life. After a twenty-year nursing career she became a host/producer of the award-winning Boker Tov radio show and continued for fifteen years. During that time she also produced another award-winning show, Reach for the Stars, and wrote ENG for local cable TV. Pam has also written three adult fiction manuscripts, one YA manuscript, and three plays. One of her plays The Interview, is opening November, 2013.

She has written several articles for newsletters and magazines and her latest one will be seen in Costa Rica’s Madre Natura magazine come fall.

Pam’s writing can also be read in over a dozen anthology books: Bedpan Banter, Anthology: the Beauty of the Story and of course many of the Chicken Soup for the Soul titles.
