Who Is Hanoch McCarty?

Hanoch McCarty is an educator and motivator. He is well-known for his high energy and the appropriateness of his examples and stories; the drama and humor of his presentations, and the fact that he always interacts with his audiences in the most exciting way.

He researches and custom designs each presentation to exactly fit the themes and concerns of the group. He simply doesn’t give a “cookie-cutter” presentation. He uses high tech to achieve “high touch”—because he believes that you don’t reach the audience’s minds and memories unless you touch their hearts and tickle their funny bones.

Hanoch gives many presentations each year all over the world. He has spoken in sixteen countries including Canada, mainland China, Japan, Israel and Norway. He has spoken in forty-eight of the fifty states—and he’s looking forward to being invited to speak in Alaska and Idaho someday soon.

He speaks to school systems, governmental agencies, conventions, college faculties, professional associations, medical practices, health maintenance organizations, dental groups, hospital staffs, law practices and industry groups. He has spoken to over twenty college faculties in the past two years and to many more public and private school faculties, classified staffs and parent groups. He has spoken to church conventions, teacher training and school opening meetings.

His corporate clients have brought him in to sales meetings, employee and management seminars where his stories and research-based insights have empowered and enlightened audiences from coast-to-coast.

He is the author and coauthor of twenty books and training programs, including: Self-Esteem in the Classroom; The Experts Speak: A Guide to Teachers of Adolescents; and Ten Keys to Successful Parent Involvement.

Some people say that Hanoch “wrote the book” on motivational speaking—and it’s true—he did. It’s called, Motivating Your Audience: Speaking from the Heart and it’s a great summation of all that he’s learned in over twenty years as a motivational speaker.

His latest book, Motivating Your Students: Before You Can Teach Them, You Have to Reach Them, is an example of his lifelong commitment to the improvement of instruction on all levels.

With his wife Meladee, he is coauthor of four books, including the bestseller, Acts of Kindness: How to Make A Gentle Difference; A Year of Kindness: 365 Ways to Spread Sunshine; The Daily Journal of Kindness and the New York Times #1 bestseller, A 4th Course of Chicken Soup for the Soul.
