Thank You

From Chicken Soup for the Soul: Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries

Thank You

We owe huge thanks to all of our contributors. We know that you poured your hearts and souls into the thousands of stories that you shared with us, and ultimately with other people who are recovering from traumatic brain injuries or helping their loved ones do so. As we read and edited these stories, we were truly moved by your experiences and inspired by your great advice. We appreciate your willingness to share these personal, heartfelt stories with our readers. It took extra effort for many of you to write these stories and work with us through the editing process, and we appreciate how unselfishly you have shared your experiences with people who may be new to the TBI community. They will undoubtedly be very grateful to you.

We could only publish a small percentage of the stories that were submitted, but we read every single one and even the ones that do not appear in the book had an influence on us and on the final manuscript. We owe special thanks to Chicken Soup for the Soul’s VP and Assistant Publisher D’ette Corona, who read every story, talked to every contributor, and was instrumental in shaping this manuscript. Senior Editor Barbara LoMonaco proofread the manuscript and Editor and Production Manager Kristiana Pastir turned that Word document into a finished book.

We also owe a special thanks to our creative director and book producer, Brian Taylor at Pneuma Books, for his brilliant vision for our covers and interiors.
