From Chicken Soup for the Scrapbooker's Soul

Who Is Debbie Haas?

Debbie was a stay-at-home mom for almost fifteen years, volunteering at church, school and within her community. As a foster mother, she loved many babies that came to her from drug-addicted mothers. After several years as a foster parent, she was able to adopt their youngest son to complete their family of four. Once the children were in school full-time, Debbie went back to work outside of the home.

Debbie started work at Colorbok as an executive administrative assistant to the vice-president of Memory in Craft. After only a few months, Debbie was promoted to the marketing events and education manager. Life as she knew it would never be the same. She began teaching scrapbooking classes at trade shows, consumer shows, cruise ships and numerous stores around the United States. It was more than a full-time job for her; it was a passion.

Now an independent consultant, Debbie has been a guest on the Diva Craft Lounge World Talk Radio show on several occasions. Debbie has been involved in product development and has been a designer for major manufacturers in the scrapbooking/paper crafting industry. She has been a marketing liaison and has been instrumental in bringing several companies together for the benefit of improving product development and packaging.

Debbie loves the ever-evolving world of scrapbooking and paper crafts. Helping people go to the next level, whether it is in one of her classes, at a trade show, in a “behind-the-scenes” meeting, designing samples or in product development, Debbie’s enthusiasm is always contagious!
