Golf Digest is America’s oldest and most widely read golf monthly with a circulation of 1.55 million and six million readers. Since 1950, Golf Digest has advised golfers on how to play, what to play and where to play. It has won every major golf-writing award and twice in the last decade has been named finalist in the prestigious National Magazine Awards.

Its contributing editors include the best writers and teachers in the country, including writers Dan Jenkins, Dave Kindred, Nick Seitz and Tom Callahan and teachers David Leadbetter, Jack Lumkin, Hank Haney, Butch Harmon and Jim McLean, among many others. Golf Digest Schools, which serve as a laboratory to the magazine’s highly respected instruction content, are recognized as the leading golf schools in the country. Golf Digest has twenty-five affiliated publications around the world, offering the magazine’s editorial content to some one million golfers in more than fifty-one countries in fifteen languages.

Golf Digest assisted Chicken Soup for the Golfer’s Soul in the solicitation and the selection of stories and cartoons for this book. Several of the stories will be excerpted in the magazine and its writers are well represented in these pages.
