Barbara LoMonaco

Co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Resolution

Barbara LoMonaco has been Editor and Webmaster for Chicken Soup for the Soul since 1998. She grew up in Los Angeles and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Southern California. After graduation she taught at the elementary school level.

Barbara "retired" from teaching when she became pregnant with the first of her three sons and was lucky enough to be able to be a stay-at-home-mom while her boys were growing up. Her sons, John, Michael and Robert, are her proudest accomplishments and she is truly blessed to have two terrific daughters-in-law... Crescent and Christine. Her husband, Frank, has been her soul mate since they started dating when Barbara was in high school. He has always stood beside her and has been her biggest supporter in whatever she has wanted to do.

When the last of her sons left home, Barbara started her job with Chicken Soup for the Soul. Over the many years she has worked there, she has seen, firsthand, how one story or the actions of one person really can make a big difference in someone's life. She feels very blessed to be involved with the Chicken Soup for the Soul organization.
